Thank you for the honor of serving as your three-time Mayor and Councilmember. I have always put the best interest of the residents first and I'm proud of how Calabasas has become one of the best cities to live in and raise a family.

With your vote on November 6th, I will continue to:

  • Address the needs of seniors  wanting to age-in-place
  • Protect our beautiful open space
  • Reduce traffic by controlling overdevelopment
  • Support our excellent schools
  • Maintain our AAA credit rating

Additionally, I will contribute my expertise to better prepare our community against massive wildfires.

I was elected to the Calabasas City Council in 2005, re-elected in 2009 and again in 2013. I have served more times as Mayor than any other woman and  promoted  women leadership  throughout our city. I was recognized by the non-partisan National Women's Caucus  San Fernando Valley Chapter for my contributions to local governing.

I am currently employed with the California Conservation Corps and manage a wildland firefighting program in partnership with CalFire. I previously worked for CalEPA as a community advocate for the cleanup of contaminated sites in Environmental Justice communities.

I have a long-standing record in public service including working as a Field Deputy to Fran Pavley, a Deputy Press Secretary for former Insurance Commissioner John Garamendi, and staff of the Santa Monica Bay Restoration Project.

In the private sector, I have worked in management positions with The Walt Disney Company and Blue Shield of California.

I raised my three sons (Martin, Derek and Neil) in our great city and with your vote on November 6th, I will continue to make Calabasas an even better city to live and work.

Thank you for your consideration.
